The Mysterious Educated Classroom is back for our second round of podcasting! We learned a lot since our last podcast. We worked on our reading fluency and trying to add expression and humor. In addition, some of the students decided to keep the same topics (such as Planet Weather and News, the Word of the Day, and Where in the World) while others tried their hand at mock interviews with fairy tale characters or researched new topics of interest. We hope you enjoy our second podcast. Some of our music and sound effects were taken from Magna Tune and the Free Sound Project located at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu.

This is the first podcast of an elementary school classroom. The students chose their own topics and wrote their own scripts. In this episode you will hear: the vocabulary word of the day, jokes, animal trivia, interviews with characters from our class book, Planet Weather and News, Where in the World, math tips for division, and much more. We used our "podcast scripts" as part of our language arts grade for the term, and listening to ourselves via audio recordings helps us to become more fluent readers. The goal of each podcast in the future will be to refine our writing and our oral reading. We hope you enjoy our first podcast!
